brainwash? stonewash. was released in September, 1982. The title is the band's
way of speaking out against the misconception of rock and roll in general as reflected
in the media. In typical incentive fashion, the band balanced their vehement hatred of
the negative view of their genre with a display of their fondness for stonewashed jeans.
Of course, the rise in the popularity of stonewashed jeans was a direct result of this.
