green house was released in August, 1990. It was the second and final album that addressed
the environmental issues that were making headlines in this timeframe. The incentives are
unofficially credited with spawning the term "green house effect", although it is not
documented anywhere. Doug points out, "We were touring, and we passed this place that was
covered in some kind of plant. I think it was ivy, or something. Anyway, I says to Dave,
I says, 'Hey, Dave, look at that green house!' The rest is history." Indeed. The incentives,
