shiny objects was released in August, 1993. It was the third and final album that was
released during the incentives rocky relationship with mind-altering narcotics. Kelly
recalls, "Yes, we were all heavily laced with hallucinogens while making this album. Well,
I say 'all', but I really mean me, 'cos Dave and Doug were pretty clean. I mean they had
a few shots of malt liquor every now and then.... but I digress. At the time, I believed
that my father was actually a popsicle, and my mother was a biscuit. That was the real
inspiration for the first song I wrote by myself, 'Son of a Biscuit'. I still enjoy
the odd snort of coke from time to time... Kidding, I'm kidding!" The incentives, funny people.
